WOW... those are some serious questions!

OK so let me take the LAST one first. I am inspired by everything....there is no one particular person that I follow but still you asked so I will share what I can. I am very inspired by the women of Islamic history and our Prophet (pbut) they were all such strong, righteous, moral people and some amazing guides! I am also inspired by many many Sufi saints and especially their poetry... it speaks to me in a way that I can't explain very easily. I love Baba Farid, Baba Bulleh Shah, Iqbal, Rumi, Mirza Ghalib, and so many more. I also love nature.... I find the ocean one of the most peaceful and inspiring places ever (perhaps because I don't get to see it very often) I am also inspired by my younger sisters who work so much harder than I ever did and because of it, will go far inshallah.

Hmm.. BRAIN OR HEART??? It depends.... I think usually I'd follow my heart because I'm a woman who is very in-tune with her emotions. Things like sleep, my sense of peace etc are all disturbed when I go against my heart so I try and listen to it as much as I can. If, however, I am faced with a situation that will negatively affect my family or the ones I love, it will be my brain....

does that make any sense??

Now in terms of 2 rights, 2 wrongs, I'd say choose the path that is the MIDDLE road. In other words, whichever is the lesser of two evils, the less extreme choice, choose that one. Evaluate both situations from all angles possible, list the pros and the cons, talk to people about it if you have to and take their opinions. Ultimately, whichever you choose, take God's name first, pray that you've made the right choice and leave the rest up to HIM

I might answer this one in portions since I have 10 things to choose from.....

1. I would make societies understand the importance of women and ensure that their strength was recognised in every part of the world. I would make sure that women were just as active in their societies as men and that they had the same life choices and life chances as anyone else. Stupid practices based on tradition like child marriage, infanticide, genital mutiliation etc would be wiped off the map...they wouldn't exist in my world

2. I would eradicate all illnesses and poverty

3. If I had that high level of power, I would grant human beings common sense, intelligence and compassion so that they could learn to live, love and work with each other as I believe Allah intended whatever their race, religion, or background

4. This is a very personal thing to say on a forum and some people may hate me for it but I have to be honest. I would go back in time and never allow the House of Saud to take over Saudia Arabia, I think the repercussions for my faith have been strong and widespread and not in a positive way :(

5. Related to the above, I would make sure that displaced and partitioned people like in Palestine, Kashmir, and even India, Pakistan and Bangladesh had the opportunity to live like they wanted to, in their ancestral lands and without hatred for each other
